Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin has a short and indistinguished history in her position as Governer from the state of Alaska. Prior to this position, Sarah Palin was the Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, pop 9,000. In 1984, Palin won the Miss Wasilla beauty contest, then finished second in the Miss Alaska pageant,at which she won a college scholarship.In the Wasilla pageant, she played the flute and won "Miss Congeniality."   In anticipation of the many opportunities for gaffes, misspeaking, and humorous attacks against the Democratic candidates, I present Palinisms.com an anthology of Sarah Palin Gaffes. Did Palin Really Fight The "Bridge To Nowhere?" from The New Republic Republicans have been heavily touting Sarah Palin's reformist credentials, with her supposed opposition to Alaska's "Bridge to Nowhere" as Exhibit A.
